Dandelion Flower Essence
Flower essences are vibrational imprints of flowers captured and preserved in water and alcohol, aided by the sun or moon. The essence of a flower works with our own essence on the energetic plane. Though subtle, they can be extremely potent and powerful medicine, especially for emotional and spiritual well-being.
Plants are very old, very wise beings with much to teach us. Working with them in the form of flower essences is a gentler, but sometimes more profound, way to learn from the plants than taking a medicinal dose of tea or tincture. They are often used for children, pregnant and nursing mothers, or highly sensitive people because they are so gentle. Flower essences are said to be great tools to assist our soul’s evolution during a lifetime.
Ways to use: Meditation, altar work, anointing, acupressure, in ritual baths, in water or other beverages, or directly on the tongue.
Dandelion flower essence helps bring about a state of focus by encouraging us to be present in the body, and in the moment. This presence also helps us to feel strong and courageous, like the resilient dandelion. Dandelion essence can help you feel rooted, grounded, and unwaveringly confident.
Say this mantra while taking 4 drops of this essence: “I am completely present in this moment and all moments.”
This essence was also infused with the magic and wonder of rainbows, created by the refraction of the spring water and sunlight on the flowers before I harvested them (see the photos!). I find this essence to help instill a sense of childlike wonder and joy as well.
